The mission of the Center is to carry out basic research into the
structure and dynamics of atomic nuclei and high-density matter. The
Center also consults with the Cyclotron Facility (IUCF) staff and visitors,
and assists IUCF by suggesting experiments and analyzing results. The
Center is also active in training Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers
in theoretical nuclear physics.
