The mission of the Indiana Spinal Cord and Head Injury Research Center is to provide the most current, best standards of care to patients with head and spinal cord injuries; and to develop a treatment program that is based on stem cells, trophic factors, and inhibiting proteins that are known to block the regeneration of tissues destroyed by spinal cord injuries.
