The Institute for the Study of Labor in Society (ISLS) supports interdisciplinary research and offers technical service on labor policy and strategy issues. It serves as a resource center and clearing house for information on unions and the economic and social context of work. ISLS projects examine a wide spectrum of labor issues including economic policy, market research, public opinion, and worker education programs. In addition, the Institute publishes a series of research monographs entitled Working Papers for a Better Indiana.
