The activities of the IU Regional Economic Development Resource Center (REDRC) are designed to match the needs of businesses, organizations, and communities with available resources. REDRC assists businesses and organizations in a number of ways including: identifying new technologies, reviewing business plans, identifying faculty who might be able to offer consulting assistance, preparing grant proposals, and fostering international activities. REDRC is located in the School of Business and works closely with businesses, Chambers of Commerce, economic development agencies, not-for-profits, Indiana and U.S. Departments of Commerce, local governments, and the Southern Indiana Rural Development Project.
