The mission of the Center is to develop, conduct, and collaborate in the planning and execution of research relevant to the WHO Healthy Cities movement; to collaborate in developing a global database and issuing reports about the worldwide Healthy Cities movement; to provide research and training opportunities for WHO visiting scientists and research trainees; to organize and host national and international conferences and congresses on issues relevant to the Healthy Cities movement; and to promote information exchange about Healthy Cities programs, research, and resources.
