IU's Research and Technology Corporation (IURTC) is a not-for-profit agency that facilitates industry-IU research and technology collaborations. IURTC stimulates growth in Indiana's technology sector by helping companies develop commercially viable technology with the ultimate goal of creating jobs and growing the state's economy.
Indiana University Emerging Technologies Center
The mission of IU's Indiana University Emerging Technologies Center is to incubate and accelerate life sciences, biotechnology and bioinformatics companies in Indiana.
Indiana Initiative for Economic Development
The Indiana Initiative for Economic Development (IIED) is an economic development program designed to foster technology development and job growth in the state of Indiana. The Initiative makes available advanced computing technology and expertise to companies whose proposed projects advance the Indiana economy, foster job creation in high-tech jobs in Indiana, and show promise in creating new technologies. The Initiative is a partnership among IBM, Indiana University, Purdue University, and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). Computing resources dedicated to this Initiative are jointly owned by Purdue University and Indiana University, and housed on IU's Bloomington campus. The resources are configured for maximum flexibility, allowing each University to develop industry partnerships independently or in a collaborative effort.
